Carolyn – Certified Laser Therapist and ChiroThin Weight Loss Assistant

Carolyn Dunn is a returnee to Cape Breton. She was in the film and television industry for over 25 years in Toronto. Her passion is learning about the mind/body connection and how we can heal ourselves. So it was with excitement that she joined Sydney Chiropractic. The bonus being that Charlene’s Nutrition Center is downstairs. She is like a kid in a candy store checking out what new products they have for health care. Carolyn is also a practitioner of the BodyTalk System and Emotional Freedom Technique. Her job in the office is working with our cold laser therapy patients and she also works with our patients who are part of our ChiroThin Weight loss program; two rewarding positions. Seeing people heal and also learn something about themselves is truly satisfying. There is always a smile at the end of the day.

Bettina

Bettina – Chiropractic Health Assistant

Bettina and her husband Harold returned to Sydney in September of 2011 after a 31 year absence, during which time she managed an income tax office in Brampton, ON. They purchased a house adjacent to Sydney Chiropractic and became a fixture with her big smile and friendly hellos. After a year of semi-retirement, Bettina joined the team of Sydney Chiropractic on a part-time basis and hasn’t looked back. She enjoys her work immensely and is 100% dedicated to the care and attention of our patients.

When not working and weather permits, she can be found in her backyard tending the garden she loves and nurtures. On other days she buries herself in the pages of her many recipe books, mixing together all the ingredients and bakes to her heart’s content. Bettina is happy to be back in Cape Breton and, in particular, to be a member of the Sydney Chiropractic team. She looks forward to assisting our patients with the care and attention they deserve.
